History: 1932 was the first year Brooklyn was officially known as the “Dodgers”, with the lettering appearing on the jerseys for the first time. It was a relatively successful season for Brooklyn, who finished third in the eight-team NL. Outfielder Lefty O’Doul hit .368 for the Bums, and Casey Stengel was a coach. This fine wool-and-leather model features a mulit-layer felt emblem on the chest, button front, and pouch pockets.
